What a fun way to do vocal warmups together.
Here is a warmup checklist to use when speaking in public, such as giving a presentation, delivering an author’s talk, or hosting your Substack live:
🔹 Step 1: Body Stretches (2 mins)
Head & shoulder rolls, and gentle rib stretch.
🔹 Step 2: Breath Exercises (2 mins)
Introduce “leaky tire breath” and extended counts.
🔹 Step 3: Mouth Exercises (2 mins)
Lion face, lemon face, lip and tongue trills.
🔹 Step 4: Tongue Twisters (3–4 mins)
